Introduction: Bridging the Academic Gap in East Delhi
While Delhi University stands tall as one of India's premier educational institutions, its reach and presence remain unevenly distributed across the capital. East Delhi, home to a dense, diverse, and growing population, lacks adequate access to higher education infrastructure of DU’s calibre.
My thesis project envisions a new campus of Delhi University in Surajmal Vihar, East Delhi a 15.25-acre institutional anchor designed to bridge the academic, spatial, and social gap in this underserved urban quadrant.

Design Vision:
To create a law college campus that is not only functionally efficient and future-ready, but also inclusive, interactive, and embedded in the civic fabric of East Delhi.

Law blocks arranged around semi-open courts, inspired by Indian judicial architecture.

Flexible classrooms, moot courts, library, and legal research centre with direct connectivity.

Faculty offices and seminar halls with views toward green buffers.
🌳 Open Space Integration:

Central green spine acting as a social and visual axis, connecting all departments.

Plazas, amphitheatres, and shaded gardens for informal interaction and campus life.
